Just want to tip my hat to the amazing podcast you have as TCK and the Brutal with Jack Luna!! So happy to have people out there doing justice to the whole story while making me giggle with all the dark humor! Please keep doing what you do!!!

The stories from your own life experiences, your family, and your beliefs—all of it is 100 percent real, no ifs, ands, or buts about it; you tell the truth and stick by what you say! Since being introduced to TCK, I've abandoned ALL of my other go to podcasts. Kent has essentially murdered them. I had 3 that I was fairly faithful to, and those podcasts are now a vape shop. Great work, keep it up; and I try to bring everyone I can into the fold.

Strangely enough, my uncle recommended your podcast to me. I guess we both have the same warped sense of humor so he knew I would love and appreciate your take on true crime. I am completely entertained by the banter you share with all of your cohosts past and present. I look forward to every single episode and hope you continue for a very long time.

True Crime Kent is hands down my favorite podcast. It’s what happens when somebody looks at a two-hour true crime story and says, “Yeah, but what if these motherfuckers knew EVERYTHING?” You’ll start an episode thinking, “I wonder who murdered this guy?” and 45 minutes later you know the victim’s childhood trauma, the killer’s credit score, his favorite gas station snack, what his neighbor’s cousin drove in 1997, what kind of cigarettes his uncle smoked, and somehow the exact weather conditions the day his parents conceived him. Kent doesn’t leave out details. He hunts them down, interrogates them, checks their credit history, contacts their next of kin, and then spends 37 minutes explaining why that detail probably doesn’t matter—but now I NEED to know it. He’ll tell you a guy got murdered in 1987, and before you find out who did it, you’ll know what the victim ate for breakfast, what his dad did for a living, why his cousin got divorced, the population of his hometown, the economic impact of the local lumber industry, and why some random asshole named Randy getting a DUI in 1973 is somehow CRITICAL to understanding the case. Six hours later, my wife is asking if I’m coming to bed and I’m like: “I CAN’T. KENT JUST FOUND RANDY.” Other true crime podcasts: “Here’s what happened.” True Crime Kent: “Alright motherfuckers, you’re gonna need some context…” And that context apparently starts three generations before anybody involved in the fucking murder was born. Other podcasts give you the facts. Kent gives you the facts, the backstory of the facts, the childhood of the facts, the facts’ tax returns, and three completely unrelated facts that somehow become relevant four hours later. By the time the killer gets arrested, I’m not even surprised. I’ve known the son of a bitch so long I’m wondering if I should put money on his commissary. By the end of the episode, I don’t just know who committed the crime—I know enough about everyone involved to claim them as dependents on my taxes. And somehow, despite knowing the episode is longer than my average work shift, I still hit play thinking, “Hell yeah, I’ve got time.” I absolutely do not have time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — If I ever get murdered, don’t call the cops. Call Kent. The cops might figure out who killed me, but Kent will figure out why my killer’s second-grade substitute teacher getting divorced in 1989 set the whole fucking thing in motion. And somewhere around hour seven…

Best true crime podcast out there between the humor you put into it and the facts that are told can’t get enough. Hell I love to know that half of the places are parking lots or dollar generals now. Kent Joe and Jesse don’t stop being awesome. And BYE!

Money well spent on Patreon to get all the uncut content plus. Love Kent and the gang! They have it all. Deep research, long multi-parters as well as shorts, humor, heart, and Kent actually sounds like cornbread, so I can relate! Also, they don't talk down to their listeners or treat their fans like shit. 😅

Seriously Mr. Chungus, you and that silly boy Jack Luna have single handedly gotten me through the hardest time of my life. Many times when things got/get really bad I know I can turn on a podcast you’re involved with and get a good belly laugh, man, thank you, thank you. I don’t know what I would’ve done seriously it makes me emotional just typing this. Plus I’m from Pikeville, KY originally and I’m far far away from home so hearing your accent reminds me of hangin with my boys so kinda makes me a little less home sick.

The longer I listen to this, the more I realize Kent is like the true crime Theo Von. He’s got some out of pocket things he says that just crack me up even if it does get a little dark. This podcast isn’t for you if you get offended super easily. Overall, the story telling is great and you can tell Kent does A LOT of research. Joe and Jess are great additions. Mostly just there for quips and questions, but it wouldn’t be the same without them.

Love listening to this podcast details matter! The humor is dark but light. Great show.

Love this podcast, Kent’s sense of humor is like being with an old friend that knows all of your old funny stories.

You didn’t mention the documentary 77 minutes concerning the shooting. Did you watch it? It was very disturbing bc it showed the dead bodies laying on the floor. Great show I honestly know more about the man behind it than what I learned in the documentary. You are so thorough in your research - I even learned something I didn’t know about Jim Jones and I thought I’d heard everything about in in the massive coverage over Jonestown.

Kent, Joe & Jess are fantastic. Kent’s story telling is phenomenal, the commentary is chef’s kiss! 🤌🏻 Hilarious, sarcastic, and the amount of information is WILD. Kent doesn’t just throw this show together, you can really appreciate the detail that goes into each episode. I especially love how Kent will even go as far as to find, research, and explain the current state and history of the locations in which these events occurred. Keep it up guys!

Hands down my favorite true crime podcast. TCK was recommended to me when Kent covered Columbine and I have since joined the Patreon and binged every episode. Love the humor and love the banter between him and the various hosts. The research is extremely detailed and his passion for each case shines through.
