Rough on the outside, but gooey inside. ❤️🤡🎈

I generally love this podcast but this berdella episode is boring a.f. So boring I keep expecting the operator to chime in.

I first heard Kent with Luna. I loved Luna’s style of dry, direct delivery. Wasn’t a fan of dual host/comedic banter while listening to horrific subject matter. Kent changed that. We all know people that we could listen to riff on stuff for hours just because they are the way they are. Kent is one of those dudes. An unmatched level of deep research meets a contagious, sharp and witty mind/personalty. One stop shop.

Kent I love listening to you every morning you definitely make my day. This is literally the best true crime podcast. Keep it up and don’t ever go anywhere. ❤️U

So, I’m a (lifelong) True-Crime …. Obsessor? The show that you roast at the beginning of this particular episode… whelp, I began listening to that podcast when I first discovered that podcasts existed…. Still a fan, however, this intro was spot on🤣🤣🤣… Also, you’re one of the ONLY podcast hosts that I could (not only stand, but actually) LOVE listening to because you successfully encompass both humor and crime… two genres and that I personally don’t find mix well, unless done in a very particular way…. I’ll stop now…

I love listening to this podcast. It has vivid details, multiple points of view. Funny endearing, even though it deals with very horrible material. I’m here for you, Chungus.

Love the show. Joe is awesome. My only negative is I don’t like the previews trying to get me to sign up to patreon. I feel like the “preview” episodes are made out to be free…. But they are just trying to get me to sign up. Not a fan of that

I’m curious what the arrowhead that was in otzi’s shoulder looked like. I’ve found many over the years but can’t imagine what another human would use on another. Love the German accent Joe uses throughout. Makes me blush. Great job guys!

I’ve never laughed so much listening to podcasts until I found TCK. It’s really the only podcast that I can’t compare to any other true crime podcasts out. If you’re a fan of comedy from a salt of the earth type dude this shows for you!

Love listening to Kent. Always a good day when a new episode drops. Iceman episode, why is Joe so much louder than Kent? 15 minutes in and it’s a hard listen due to the imbalance in the volume between the two of ya. I like Joe too, maybe just at the same volume as Kent 😘

I got hip to TCK through Jack Luna and i started binging the show. the problem is that i don’t have a good system for binging and i was listening to the episodes from new to old and then i listened to one of the first episodes. i was so confused by Op’s accent. Advice- skip ahead to the episodes without the weird accent. One of the most honest podcasters, at times cringe-worthy, often hilarious and always well researched and informative.

These two hosts are my favorite — the perfect balance between true crime and comedy. Love this podcast!

Kent is witty, hilarious and engaging. I’ve been a listener since October of 2020 (started on Spotify and then shifted to Patreon). TCK is unmatched to any other true crime podcast. The effort put into his research, scripts and production is top notch. Kent has always remained himself, never shifting personalities despite gained listenership. His authenticity is why I continue to listen. This is not a one size fits all type podcast but if you want raw and non pc true crime content, then this may be your next greatest find. ❤️

I have followed Kent since the early episodes of Brutal with Jack Luna. I saw the evolution from Brutal, to Gallows, back to Brutal and TCK as well. While I think Jack may be the best writer in true crime, Kent may be the most thorough researcher in the genre, and by far the funniest voice in the scene. Somehow, Kent will get laughs from the most grotesque moments in stories and still keep it tasteful, most of the time. I’ve meant to write this review for a long time, but I was pushed to do so when Kent mentioned mixing Texas Pete hot sauce with ranch for pizza. This is EXACTLY what I do, and it’s absolutely not even close to the only shared opinion we have. Long live TCK, long live Kent. And long live the Jack/Kent duo, which is a shining star in a dark genre.
