I always thought crime shows, podcast, documentaries were a subtle hint your wife gave you to do better, so I never gave them much of a chance… Until TCK changed the game!!! Love the podcast Kent I listen daily. Keep cranking the episodes out!

Love this! Never know which direction this podcast will go, BUT no matter the direction it’s always great! Especially with the details about the placed, houses etc

I abandon any podcast I am in the middle of when a new episode of TCK drops. I love the depth, the dark humor, and (as a native of Southern WV) THE ACCENT!!!

If you like a mix between C*mtown and Last Podcast on the Left you came to the right place! I’ve binged all episodes and like the Southern charm Kent adds to each crime! Thank you for being blunt, Kent! Also love hearing from Op, Jack, and Joe, stay golden you guys!

For me, podcasts live or die on several things. Most importantly, the voice (vocal fry people, consider a different career, ok?), personality and ability to engage the listener, empathy towards the victims and the criminals and a sense of humor. A funny/annoying sidekick (looking at you Op!) is a bonus and True Crime Kent, for me is top notch. For the curious about TCK, start with Gorilla Man and Carl Panzram. Kent and Op manage to inject the episodes with a ton of humor, humanity and insight, without going overboard. Kent is absolutely hilarious, smart and knows these cases inside/out (always citing source material, if you want more detail). He takes no prisoners with the humor - it is truly hilarious and he includes himself as a target. If you like your podcasts to be fun, very informative and narrated well, give this a shot. The Panzram 6 part series is a masterpiece. I love Op too, a perfect foil for TCK! Op adds a ton to each episode, the contrast between Kent (Kentucky Fried, brilliant miscreant) and Op (expert in coin collecting and numismatics). So you get random coin/currency facts for free as a bonus). So much hugs to all of you at 11:59 media. ♥️

I love me some TCK!!! He tells truths and digs deep into some true crime stories!!! I’m a very big fan of Joe also. He’s quite insightful, and very funny as well!! Kent “Chungas” digs deep and tells a good story!!! He has a foul mouth; which I appreciate!!! My son is an active duty U.S. Marine currently!!!

I get it Joe is smart and can fly a plane. Now shut up and let Kent tell the story.

This show is humorous and well researched. The addition of Jess adds nothing but somehow takes away from the show

I normally do not like banter. But-these two pull it off! The hosts grow on you almost immediately and it’s now become a new favorite.

I am a true Kent fan! His research is remarkably well done and his humor and ability to banter is next level.

When I first started listening to TCK, I almost turned it off because of all the banter. But Kent’s unmistakable accent reminded me of growing up in Bourbon Co, and that familiarity made me stick around. By the end of the first episode, I wasn’t sure yet—but after the second, I was hooked. I started with the Panzram episodes, and I’d recommend starting there if it’s your first time. Kent has a rare talent for diving deep into the darkest true crime stories while weaving in just enough humor to lighten the mood. I’ve never laughed so much listening to a podcast—and trust me, my wife would tell you I’m not one to laugh at much of anything! I’m so grateful to whoever mentioned this show in a comment on an episode of **Sword and Scale**—which used to be my favorite podcast, but now **True Crime Kent** takes the top spot. Now I even subscribe to this yahoo—who knew I’d be paying to hear more banter!
