Humor and facts! I love it!!!

The candid commentary has disrupted my job several times as it never fails to make me laugh, uncontrollably. Kent’s delivery leaves me hanging on to every single word and I absolutely love the research he puts into the physical locations. I love these details. I also really appreciate and use Op’s tidbits of coin knowledge. I would have given unlimited stars, but I’m not Dave Meltzer, and I was limited to 5 so……

Hilarious, you will be asking yourself if it’s ok to be laughing at that. 🙌🏼 And I love how much they make fun of killers when most podcasts sensationalise them.

This is by far the best investigative show in the True Crime realm. It's like taking a deep face dive into the vaginas and buttholes of all victims and perpetrators. A must fir the true crime comeidic connesuer. Kent gets real, really real, with his interpretation of the crimes and situations in his commentary. Don't look any further you won't be disappointed. You Rock Kent. You too OP.

I love Kent so hard it hurts! Truthfully- he is one of the few people in this world who can make me belly laugh until I’m almost in pain. His cohosts, especially Jack Luna from Dark Topic fame, are great 😂 The Op is a little annoying, but it’s worth it to hear Kent get exasperated with him. If you like true crime podcasts told in a Kentucky accent by an extremely funny man, done in a well researched manner, who will educate you about the Google map locations of the crime scenes with gusto, than this is the podcast for you! I LOVE IT!!!!

I started off listening to Sword n Scale and thought it was awesome. Detailed, researched, straight up story. It is extremely monotone and super weird slow motion speech. But anyway, I thought it was good. UNTIL I heard you and Jack Luna together and my mind changed immediately! You guys research like no tomorrow and bring in details that no other do! You make it extremely fun to listen to with your banter! Makes me giggle! You are real about life’s challenges/experiences. Love that you are completely open about your own lives/struggles that we all can relate to! Hope you smoke Sword n Scale…..you guys deserve it!!!!! Even in your in-depth researched episodes, you are giving real time feelings and thoughts! You guys rock it and will always be my favs!

I just found this podcast. I knew Kent from the Marine Corps. I am a frequent podcast listener and I recently came across these podcasts. His personality is 100% authentic.

Maybe it’s because I’m originally from North Mississippi and while I’m aware of the differences in geography, I’m fairly certain both locations share the same Dollar Generals, corner stores with 4 old gas pumps (that also sell excellent homemade biscuit sandwiches made by your high school friends’ toothless granny), and all the other “charm” you can only experience in the rural south. So, I really feel like I’m sittin’ around listening to one of my cousins tell me a crazy story; and damnit, I just immensely enjoy it! All jokes aside, please make more episodes soon. Also, I subscribe to Jack Luna’s channel or whatever it’s called on the apple app and you guys are doing a great job over there as well. Thanks to all of you for your hard work.❤️

WOW! I wish I had found this pod sooner. As a Gen X woman, I found Kent to be hilarious. I laughed out loud several times while listening to my first episode. I truly appreciate that Kent holds nothing back while voicing his beliefs. We need more people who will openly support our Constitution, specifically the second amendment. His description of what people think an AR 15 is absolutely cracked me up! I can’t wait to go back and binge the whole show.

As everyone knows, it’s something the body produces. Laughter and love increase the oxytocin and decrease the cortisol. It’s a win win. Part of me wants to listen whilst recording my delighted reaction to every moment during which my oxytocin was pumping. So very smart and funny!!

My neighbor told me about this podcast and I am so glad she did. This podcast is amazing! I love Kent and the Operator. This show is so funny and blunt. The stories are great and very detailed.

I love everything 1159 media does. It’s taken me under 5 months to completely catch up on tck and I’m almost fully caught up on 911 calls. Sad my content will be ending soon, as I listen everyday Monday thru Friday at work, but so thrilled to listen to you guys every single day.

I’ve been a true crime lover since Robert Stack and John Walsh were showing on a routine basis. I found this show while searching for a Carl Panzram show, and I was unexpectedly delighted with factual information delivered with a humor that I didn’t know was possible in the true crime realm. Throughly impressed and off to search for merch…

Belle Guinness Part 2… I love you both SO MUCH. This morning I was listening to this episode and quite literally was LOL’ing and if I’m honest, cried and peed my pants a bit. Renaming girl’s body parts was fun. But then… 18:55 hit. Absolutely inappropriate.. 😳 although I shamefully found myself giggling till I cried. 😁 You’re awful Kent. Don’t change. You’re a sweetheart Op. Don’t change. I will be listening to you until I die (and I hope I’ll be wearing my T-shirt that says “Laugh, Love..Live!” 😊😆😊😆😊

True crime and comedy are two of my favorite genres, and I never imagined they'd mix well. However, this podcast is both hilarious and captivating. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Every episode is a rollercoaster of bizarre crimes and outrageous characters that makes you wonder if Kent is secretly auditioning for a role in the next season of 'Stranger Things.' The hosts have the perfect chemistry—imagine Sherlock Holmes teaming up with your favorite pub buddy. They dive deep into the weirdest cases, and their banter is so entertaining, it's like getting a bonus comedy show with your true crime fix. And the accents! I've never heard so many delightful Kentish phrases. I now firmly believe 'Oi, guvna!' should be mandatory in all interrogations. So, if you're into crime stories with a side of laughs, 'True Crime Kent' is the podcast for you.

Matt Boudet/ Sword and Scale team led me to Monstruo, which directed me to Dark Topic. Then Jack Luna led me to Deadbug, Kent, and The Operator. I am in true crime heaven. Not only is the research thorough, but the random conversations and humor is well received. Seriously, all of you, set the stage for truly incredible podcasts. Thank you so much for sharing the time and work you put into these episodes. There is not a single one that I have not full heartedly enjoyed. LOVE YOU GUYS!!

Sure, the content is all XXX rated, beyond graphic, sick, sick, sick, but I’m a seasoned “heard ‘em’ all”, liberal/progressive, Left coast, educated, crone of a grandma that appreciates HOW you deliver this,factually TRUE content.
